These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the terms and conditions for providing "Meal Tracker: SproutBowl" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") and the rights and obligations regarding the use of the App. Users of the App (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must agree to these Terms before using the App.

Article 1 (Applicability)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the App between the User and the App Operator (hereinafter referred to as "We" or "Us").
  2. In addition to these Terms, We may establish various rules and regulations regarding the use of the App (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Regulations"). Regardless of their name, these Individual Regulations constitute a part of these Terms.
  3. If the provisions of these Terms conflict with the provisions of the Individual Regulations mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the provisions of the Individual Regulations shall prevail unless otherwise specified in the Individual Regulations.

Article 2 (Service Content)

The App provides the following functions:

  1. Meal Recording Function: A function to record family meal contents with photos and text and save them as history.
  2. AI Photo Analysis: A function that automatically determines food categories from meal photos using on-device AI (processing within the device).
  3. Nutritional Balance Analysis: A function to visualize nutritional balance and dietary trends based on recorded data.
  4. Others: Data backup (iCloud sync), Kid Mode (function for children), etc.

Article 3 (Eligibility and Account)

  1. Although the App is primarily intended for meal management by families raising children, actual use and management of settings, etc., shall be performed by guardians (adults).
  2. If a minor uses the App (including the use of Kid Mode), it must be done under the consent and supervision of a legal representative such as a parent or guardian.
  3. Users shall use the App at their own responsibility and shall bear all responsibility for the information and data entered when using the App.

Article 4 (Paid Plans and Billing)

  1. The App is available for free, but some functions (unlimited AI analysis, detailed insight analysis, registration of multiple profiles, etc.) are provided as paid "Premium Features".
  2. Premium Features are provided as "One-time Purchase" items via the App Store.
  3. "One-time Purchase" grants the right to use the applicable paid functions for the duration the App is provided, by paying once. It does not guarantee that the App will be available permanently in the future or that it will operate on future iOS versions.
